Party people – thanks to all who made it out to the show at Sauce on Saturday.  We had a great time, played with some great bands, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  We also made some serious inroads in the “unusually outgoing older gentlemen with dancing shoes” market, an area that’s been a real problem for us in the past.  Woo!

In other news, The Invincible Kids have confirmed to play our CD release party – which, lest you forget, is May 7th at the Triple Rock Social Club.  We’ve got one more band in the works, which you can bet we’ll let you know about as soon as they’re confirmed.

And finally, anyone with photos from our Sauce show or any other, please contact us so we can offer the appropriate bribes in exchange for us using your pictures.  Party!

It’s been a busy couple of weeks!  We’re sad to announce that our CD release will be delayed a bit, but we’re super excited to announce that the date is finalized and our CD Release party is booked.  So, mark your calendars – the record drops Tuesday May 4th, with our CD Release Party ensuing Friday May 7th 2010 at the Triple Rock Social Club, in Minneapolis.  We’re working on getting the rest of the lineup finalized, so stay tuned for more information.

In other news, we’ve done an overhaul of this site, including a fancy new mailing list that you can sign up for on the main page to stay up to date on the band’s latest comings + goings.  As always, downloads of our record(s) are available on the music page.  And finally, we now have an RSS feed available for those of you so inclined.  You can subscribe to get updates whenever this site has new posts using the icon below or this link.

Happy New Year!  We’ve been working away on getting The Opposite Of Your Heart in the hands of our loving fans.  CDs are now in hand, and we’re gearing up for a promotional mega-blitz.  In the interim, we’ll be playing on last pre-CD-release show at the end of February at Sauce in Uptown Mpls, a short 300 yards from our practice location.  Show up early to see us wheeling our equipment down Lyndale Avenue!

The latest: we’ve been extra busy!  The record is off to press, and we’re expecting to release it to our adoring public in late March of 2010.  Of course, that’s sent us headlong into all the associated toil of putting a record out: getting haircuts for publicity photos, taking band photos, photoshopping our band photos, making life-sized standup cardboard cutouts of ourselves, and then bribing record stores to display them everywhere.  And all the other publicity that we do, also.  AND we’re playing next Thursday at the Turf Club, so come watch!
